    • Prevent dust by using wet cutting

    • Use a vacuum extraction on power tools rather than sweeping

    • Use a well-fitting mask

    Dust emissions to be minimised and / or contained to boundaries of the construction site, e.g. re-specifying work to eliminate or reduce dust hazards, use exhaust ventilated tools, dampening work before or during cutting / excavation.

    Exposure to asbestos

    • If you suspect that asbestos might be present, don’t start work until a survey has been carried out

    • Make sure everyone on the site is aware of the results

    When Identified no work takes place until cleared or made safe by MCP Asbestos licensed contractor.
